Canadian non-profit organization INKspire is seeking two experienced Writers-in-Residence for 6-month terms to support participants in their upcoming Writer Fellowship Program:

  • one Writer-in-Residence specializing in journalism
  • one Writer-in-Residence specializing in creative writing (e.g. poetry, short stories, genre fiction, etc.) 

The Writers-in-Residence will play a key mentorship role within the fellowship, supporting participants as they strengthen their writing practice, develop their ideas, and work toward publication.

Must be based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area or able to commute to in-person events in Toronto.

Each Writer-in-Residence will receive an honorarium of CAD $3,500 upon completion of their term.

Time Commitment: Approximately 4-5 hours per week
