The W. Eugene Smith Grant supports visual storytellers around the world.

They're seeking photographers whose work promotes social change, embraces new technologies and image distribution, and seeks to integrate the tradition of photography and social change with contemporary practice.

One recipient will receive $30,000 to use toward the completion of their project, and two finalists will receive $10,000 each.

Open to photographers worldwide, 18+.

Note: You do not need to be a professional documentary photographer or photojournalist to apply for this grant.
