In partnership with MIT, Solutions Journalism Network is launching the new SJN/MIT Climate Journalism Fellowship.
They're looking for 10 U.S.-based journalists ready to do ambitious, well-researched local reporting on climate solutions, grounded in a deep understanding of the communities in which these solutions are implemented.
For this eight-month fellowship, fellows will each receive a $7,500 stipend, extensive science journalism training from MIT, an in-person gathering at the environmental journalism conference next year, and republication of stories.
Note: A background in climate or environmental reporting is not a requirement; applicants from other beats and specialties who wish to incorporate climate solutions into their reporting are welcome to apply.
Apply by the deadline of Monday, October 26th.
