To commemorate America's 250th anniversary this year, this organization wants to engage Americans in conversations that account for all aspects of its history and find common hopes for its future.
They're seeking pitches on a wide variety of communities across the country that demonstrate how these communities live out the Declaration’s themes of freedom, equality, democracy, and the meaning of being American.
Stories run from 500 to 2,000 words, and the pay is $1 per word (above average).
