Opportunity type: hosted leadership fellowship

This five-month fellowship is on a mission to demystify a path to publishing for emerging writers.

Early-career writers from communities that are traditionally underrepresented in the publishing world and who identify as Indigenous, persons of color, LGBTQ+, immigrants, writers with disabilities, and those living outside of urban centers are encouraged to apply.

The program pays an honorarium of $1,500 and includes one-on-one mentorship, introductions to editors, agents, and publishers, and workshops on editing, marketing, and creating a platform.

We don't promote organizations or brands that appear on the Boycott, Divest, Sanction list and, as such, are complicit in the genocide, apartheid, and illegal occupation of Palestine. This opportunity passes the Boycat App screening.

Apply by the deadline of Sat, Jan 31.
