Artists working at the intersection of culture, conservation, and ecology are invited to apply for this hosted art residency on a remote island in Lake Superior.
Applications are open to visual artists of all disciplines, including still image, film, moving image, and performance, as well as writers, audio producers, poets, architects, designers, musicians, filmmakers, composers, and choreographers.
The residency is open to applicants worldwide 21 years and older.
The island has a sauna, kitchen, two sleeping areas, open-air studio spaces, tools,
and a library of more than 400 books.
The residency pays a $4,000 stipend.
