We all have stereotypes. That's what Rabat, Morocco-based intercultural educator Farah Cherif D'Ouezzan wants everyone to be aware of.

In this week's episode, Farah shares insights on crossing cultures that she has gained by bringing groups of students and adult learners to Morocco for the past 30 years as the founder of the Center for Cross-Cultural Learning.

Farah’s academic research focuses on religion, gender issues, youth participation, and cross-cultural understanding.

She’s also the author of Speaking from Within, her recently published book that covers all aspects of crossing cultures and is a useful introduction to Morocco.

Building Bridges

Farah's work with the Center for Cross-Cultural Learning has been bridging gaps in knowledge for the past 30 years

Founded by Farah Cherif D'Ouezzan and led by Moroccan academics, the Center for Cross-Cultural Learning organizes learning experiences in Morocco that create space for people to open up to the other, approach a new culture and a new land, and dive into a deeper understanding of who we are.

The center's private library is home to 10,000 books on a wide range of topics like politics, law, and religion, helping CCCL's students examine current Moroccan issues during their stay.
