Opportunity type: a call for pitches

This magazine is seeking pitches for its December issue with the theme of homecoming.

They're looking for honest, warm, uplifting stories on family journeys across Africa: the long road home, road trips and first safaris seen through a child’s eyes, three generations on one trip, the dish or recipe that carries a place, what real hospitality looks like, coming back after years away, and a funny, affectionate column from a city person who goes back every year.

Formats they're interested in include features, photo essays, profiles, Q&As, essays, a humorous column, dispatches, or cover ideas.

Rates range from $100 to $300+ per story.

We don't promote organizations or brands that appear on the Boycott, Divest, Sanction list and, as such, are complicit in the genocide, apartheid, and illegal occupation of Palestine. This opportunity passes the Boycat App screening.

Pitch by the deadline of Tuesday, October 20th.
