Opportunity type: call for pitches

Trafalgar's The Real Word blog is seeking a U.S.-based travel writer to write a story on the theme "How learning a few local words transformed my travels."

They're looking for an 850 - 900-word first-person anecdote that speaks to the power of language, communication, and human connection to transform a vacation into an immersive travel experience.

This is a paid opportunity, with a copy deadline of April 23rd.

We don't promote organizations or brands that appear on the Boycott, Divest, Sanction list and, as such, are complicit in the genocide, apartheid, and illegal occupation of Palestine. This opportunity passes the Boycat App screening.

Pitch by the deadline of Friday, April 10.
